2 ww w .g at eway . co m C onnec ting the monit or T o connect the monitor: 1 Position your comput er and the monitor so you can reach the c onnections on each. 2 Lay the monit or on its back. 3 Connect the po w er co r d to the power connector under the bottom of t he sc reen.
3 www .gate wa y .com 4 If your computer supports ana lo g v i d eo ( blue video connector), connect the analog video cable to the blue analog conn ector under the bottom of the screen.

6 ww w .g at eway . co m Star ting the monitor T o start the monitor: 1 Press the power button on the fro nt of monitor . The power LED turns on. 2 T u rn on your computer . 3 After your computer is running, the power LED on the monitor should be green.
7 www .gate wa y .com A djusting monitor settings Use the external co ntrols (located on the mo nitor itself) and software contro ls (accessible in W indows) to adjust the displa y image. Fo r more information about software contro l s, see “Software c ontrols” on page 10.

OSD inactive: Press to access the LightView menu and select a preset viewing mode or customize one o f your own. Preset modes include op timized settings for text, movies, or photos in either d ay or night ambient light levels.

Ad justing the c olor depth Color de pth is the numbe r of colors your video card uses. Most images look best displayed with the maximum number of colors av ailable.
