2 GB Contents GARDENA W ater Timer T 1 030 car d W elcome to the Garden of GARDENA... Please read these operating instructions carefully and obser ve the notes given. Use these instr uctions to familiarise yourself with the W ater Timer and its proper use as well as the notes on safety .
3 GB 2. For Y our Safety Use : The water timer is not approv ed f or indoor use. The minimum operating pressure is 0 bar , the maximum operating pressure is 1 2 bar . v Check the filter in the slee ve n ut regularly and clean if necessary . v Do not pull the hose connected to the W ater Timer and av oid tensile strain.
4 GB Putting your W ater Timer into operation : T o pre vent w ater entering the device, the W ater Timer must only be mounted in a perpendicular position with the sleeve n ut pointing upwards. After you ha ve selected the w atering program, the W ater Timer opens at the selected star ting time.

6 GB 4. Putting Y our W ater Timer into Operation 1. T urn batter y cov er 1 anticlockwise and remo ve battery holder 2 . 2. Inser t 4 x LR-6- AA ( Mignon ) alkaline batter ies 3 in the battery holder . Ensure that polarity is correct (+ / -). 3. Inser t the battery holder 2 in the correct position and close the battery cover 1 .
7 GB The functional safety of the w ater timer depends on the capability of the batteries. If you change the batteries the program is not sa ved. Y ou must reprogram the W ater Timer (see 5. Operation). The W ater Timer is fitted with a sleev e nut 4 for taps with a 33.
