Y ou should record both model and serial numbers and keep in a safe place for future reference.

page 7 Gr ounding Instructions This shredder should be grounded while in use to reduce the risk of electric shock to the operator . The shredder is equipped with a three-conductor cord and three-prong grounding plug. The green or green and yellow conductor in the cord is the grounding wire.
