8 b) Push deck lock ing pins inward and rotate f or ward to secur ely lock deck in lowered position. See Figur e 6. WA RNING POTENT IAL HAZARD ♦ Operating mower wi thout lock ing pins securely latched can result in the m ower deck folding up unexpectedly.
9 CA UTION POTENT IAL HAZARD ♦ Operating a mower deck with loose or weakened blade bolts can be danger ous. W HAT CAN HAPPEN ♦ A loose or weakened blade bolt could allow a blade rotating at a high speed to come out f rom under the deck , causing serious injur y or pr oper t y damage.

11 n) Re-install the seal g uards over the wheel hub and insert wheel into caster f or k . Re-install caster bolt and tighten nut f ully. IMPORT A NT : To pr event seal and bear ing damage, check t he bearing adjustment of ten. Spin the cast er tire. The tir e should not spin f reely (more than 1 or 2 revolutions) or have any side play.
