26670-0-01 10 Page 15 Locating Fireplace Place replace in framed opening. Attach the framing brackets to the replace and secure to framing. Different hole locations can be used for nishing materials with thicknesses of 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4".
26670-0-01 10 Page 16 Extended Hoods If your non-combustible facing material is over 1" in thickness and will be used to nish this replace, extended hoods are available that will extend out 2" farther into the room. Extended hoods are not available for the peninsula open ends.

26670-0-01 10 Page 21 Check the following items during installation prior to lighting the multisided burner: • Check all carryover ports for blockage from the ceramic media o If there is blockage, use a small pointed tool to move the ceramic media away from the carryover port.
26670-0-01 10 Page 22 Figure 16 show a correct pilot ame pattern. The correct ame will be blue and will extend beyond the thermocouple. The ame will surround the thermocouple just below the tip. A slight yellow ame may occur where the pilot ame and main burner ame meet.

Wiring The appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or , in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFP A 70 , if an exter- nal electrical source is utilized.
