2 I INTRODUCTION The Multiport Elect ronic Controller (MEC) replaces the SW 28 Switchpak, f or t he Multiport Selector Valve. T his service manual is intended to super sede the SW 28 Sw itchpak inf orm ation in Multiport Selector Valve service manuals.

INTRO DUCTI ON The Bett is Multiport Electronic Cont roller (MEC) consists of a mot or, Switchpak model SW 20N, optional local contr ol station and position display. I t is a microcont roller based system developed to control and monit or stat us of t he Multiport Selector Valve.

The corresponding port number will flash on the display when the valv e plug is moving near or passing by a port, whether by using local controls or r emote comm ands.

Any time during t he movement of the valve, whether by remote comm ands in REMOTE mode, or by the ST EP/JOG pushbutton in ST EP mode, or by the HO ME button on the circuit board, the valve can be stopped by sw it ching the select or switch to JOG m ode on the control stat ion.
