2 Fig.1. Block diagram Efficiency Optimizer function The Efficiency Optimizer fun ction is a new feature for the UP S adding cost effectiveness, minimizing power loss and reducing power consumption. Alternating between bypass and on-line modes is achieved automatically and in accordance with the condi tions of the utility power.

18 USB port (option) Connecting the UPS to your computer is a ccomplished through the USB port on the back of your computer. USB compliant hardware and operating system will be ne cessary including installation of a UPS driver. The se rial port cannot be used when using the USB port.
20 7.3 Control panel functions Operation of the UPS is indicated on the mon itor panel with five LED indic ators and an LCD screen. This displa y is also capable of alerti ng the user with audible alarms. ON : This green LED is lit when UP S has been turned on.
22 UPS configurations 1. Various settings that have been chosen are shown in the UPS setti ng display. 2. To enter configuration mode, press the “FUNC” button for one second.
