4 Oper ating Instruction s Safety Prior to initial start up • Note the ”Installation and connection instructions” • Befor e fir st starting up, check the machine for any damage incurr ed during tr ansport. Never connect up a damaged machine. If parts ar e damaged, contact your supplier .

6 Disposal P ackaging material The packaging materials ar e envir onmentally friendly and can be r ecy- cled. The plastic components ar e identified by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the packaging materials in the appr opriate container at the community waste disposal facilities.

9 Befor e the first drying cycle In or der to r emove any r esidue which may have been pr oduced during pr oduction, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth or undertake a brief drying cycle (20 MIN) with damp cloths.

12 Hints & Tips on Drying Befor e placing articles of laundry in your tumble dryer , check the care labels to ensur e they ar e r ecommended for tumble drying.
13 • Always load well spun laundry . The higher the spin speed the lower the electricity consumption and the shorter the drying time. • DO NO T load dripping wet laundry into the dryer . Roll the article in a towel or spin to r emove excess water .

AUDIBLE SIGNAL When the drying cycle has finished, an intermittent audible signal will sound. SPECIAL CARE For especially gentle drying of sensitive fabrics with the car e label and for temper ature-sensitive textiles (e.g. acrylic, viscose). Pr ogramme is executed with r educed heat.
Changing pr ogr amme To change a pr ogramme which has been selected by mistake once the pr o- gramme has started, fir st turn the progr amme selector to OFF and then r eset the progr amme. The progr amme can no longer be changed directly once the pr ogr amme has started.
17 Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning fluff filter To ensur e that the dryer works perfectly , the fluff filters (micr o-fine filter and fine strainer) must be cleaned after every drying cycle. Caution! Never operate the dryer without fluff filter s or with damaged or blocked fluff filters.
Clean the entir e filter area The strainer ar ea does not have to be cleaned after every drying cycle, but should be checked regularly and cleaned of fluff if necessary . 6. To do this, grip the top of the lar ge mesh filter and pull it forwards until it comes loose from the two brackets.
Emptying the water r eservoir Empty condensate tank after every drying cycle. If the condensate tank is full, an active progr amme will break off automati- cally and the EMPTY WA TER display will light up. In order to continue the progr amme, the condensate tank must first be emptied.
20 Cleaning heat exchanger If the HEAT EXCHANGER display is illuminated, the heat exchanger needs to be cleaned. Caution! Operating when the heat exchanger is clogged with lint can dama- ge the dryer . This also incr eases ener gy consumption. 1. Open loading door 2.
21 Cleaning the drum Caution! Do not use abr asives or steel wool to clean the drum. Lime in the water or cleaning agents may form a barely visible lining on the inside of the drum. The degree to which the laundry has been dried is then no longer detected reliably .
