6 Power Options Power Options There are 3 option s for powe ring the QUESTemp: a 9-volt alkaline ba ttery, a NiMH (Nickel Metal Hyd ride) recharge able 6-cell battery pac k, and an AC a dapter. A door on the back of the unit allows the user access to the 9-volt battery.
7 Power Options NiMH Battery Pack WARN ING: Recharge batterie s only in a non-hazardo us environment. The NiMH rechar geable battery pa ck is charged in the instrument u sing Quest’s AC adapter #015- 91 0. A discharg ed battery pac k requires an “overnight” charg e of 16 hours.
