English 20 2. CABLE CONNECTION Selecting the Active Input The Input Signal Selection Bu tton on the control panel can be used to select either SIGNAL 1 or SIGNAL 2 as the active input at any time .

T o select t he Mode Directly pressing the Mode Button allows you to select the best suited mode for screen display from 6 FineCo ntrast modes; T ext, Picture, Movie, Custom, sRGB and External.
English 3. SCREENMANAGER 25 Detailed Adjustments The detailed color settings of each mode ca n be adjusted by using the <Col or> menu of the ScreenManager . (p. 33) 3-4. Useful Functions Adjustment Lock Use the “Adjustment Lock ” function to pr event any accidental changes.

English 4. ADJUSTMENT 27 4. ADJUSTMENT 4-1. Screen Adjustment NO TE z Allow the LCD monitor to stabiliz e f or at least 20 min utes bef ore making image adjustments . Analog Input Screen adjustments for the LCD monitor should be used in suppressing screen flickering and al so for adjust ing the screen to its p roper position.
English 28 4. ADJUSTMENT 2. Run the “Screen adjustment pr ogram”. Having read the “Readme.t xt” file, ru n the “Screen Adjustment Pr ogram” in the enclosed EIZO LCD Utility D isk. Step by step, adjustment is p rovided by the wizard guide (If using the Windows, the program can be directly run from the menu screen of the CD-ROM.
English 4. ADJUSTMENT 29 (2) Horizontal flic k ering, bl urring or bars appear on th e screen. → Use the <Phase> (p . 49) adjustment. Select the <Phase> and el iminate th e horizontal flicke ring, blurring or bars by using the right and left buttons.
English 30 4. ADJUSTMENT (4) Screen image is smaller or larger t han the actual screen imag es. → Use the <Resolutio n> adjustment. Adjustment is needed when the input signal reso lution and the resoluti on now being displayed are di fferent.
English 4. ADJUSTMENT 31 4-2. Displa ying Lo w Resolutions The lower resolutions are enla rged to fu ll screen autom a tically . Using the <Screen Size> function i n the <Others> menu enables to change the screen size. 1. Enlarge the scre en size when displaying a low resolution.

W hen connecting t o a USB compliant PC or another hub, the monitor funct ions as a hub to which t he USB compliant peripherals can be easily connected.

When the image is display ed correctly after a shor t time, there is no problem with the monitor .
