Th e Eicon 1530’ s VHSI port can tr ansfer da ta at speeds fr om 2400 bps to 2048 kbps, d e pending on the i nterf ace used.

Setup 12 System Requirements Before yo u be gin, re vie w the sy stem re quirements , as out lined belo w . Setup 20 Switchin g Between Pr ofiles When you ha ve more than one pr of ile, selecting t he assoc iate d radio b utt on allo ws you to selec t which pro f ile t o edit. Del et ing Pr ofil es T o delete a prof ile: 1. Select the pr of ile and click ‘Delet e’.
Setup 21 Step 6: Modify LAN Settings (if required) The follo w ing changes may be requir ed if you are connecting the Eicon 15 30 to a LAN. Chang e Device IP Addres s The Eicon 1 530’ s defaul t IP addre ss of 192.168 .1.1 may or may not be su itable f or your LAN.

Setup 24 Adjusting LAN Settings (if required) Depending on your s etup, you may ha v e to adjus t some of the conf iguration se tting s on your computers or ser vers in or der to communicate wi th th e Eicon 1 530. Due t o the di versity of netw orking e quipment and topo logies, t his s ection ca n only c ov er the most common setups .

The benef its o f this are the ability for al l connec ted compute rs to ac cess t he ext ernal netw ork using o ne user accoun t, def ined on the de vice i tself.
