14 PROBLEM CAUSE C ORRECTION Engine will not start 1. Low on fuel or oil. 2. Ignition switch in "Off" position. 3. Faulty spark plug. 4. Choke in wrong position. 5. Fuel shut-of f valve in closed position. 6. Unit loaded during start-up. 7. Spark plug wire loose.
15 1. Place battery in rack with terminals facing towards generator head. 2. Place battery bracket (A) over battery as shown (opposite battery terminals).
