-2 - For more information, visit www.desatech.com INTRODUCTION Models CD32M series, CD36M seri es and CD42M are heat circulating gravity direct vent gas fireplaces with sealed combustion chamber. These fireplaces use millivolt gas control valve and millivolt ignition system.

Due to high temperat ures, do not locate this ap pliance in high traffic areas or near furniture and draperies.
-4 - For more information, visit www.desatech.com VENT PIPE AND TERMINATION CLEARANCES The final position of your appl iance depends on the location of th e term ination in relation to the clearances that must be obse rved. A= 12” (305mm ) clearance above grade, veranda, porch, deck or balcony.

FRAMING Once the final location has been determ ined (observing clearances for vent terminati on), you may construct framing using dimensi ons shown in figures 8 and 9, depending on the particular installation.

To remove louvers, pull both spri ng latches (located in each end of louver) towards center of appliance simultaneously until diseng aged from locating holes.
