– 15 – EN English During playbac k, press the STILL/P A USE but t on. • Playbac k will pause and sound will be muted. To continue playbac k, press the PLA Y but t on. NO TE: • Set “STILL MODE” to “FIELD” on the display menu if pic- tures in the pause mode are blurred.
– 16 – EN During playbac k, press the STILL/P A USE but t on. Press the h or g butt on. • Slow motion pla yback will begin and sound will be muted. Press the h or g bu tton repeatedly to select the required speed. • Slow f orward or re verse speed is different depending on the disc.
– 17 – EN English Press the SEARCH MODE but - ton. • The track search displa y appears. Within 30 seconds, select a desired trac k number using the Numeric b uttons . For single digits press “ 0 ” first if the total track of the disc is more than 10 tr acks.
When a CD-R or CD-RW disc with MP3, JPEG or WMA files is inser ted in the D VD play er and the MENU b utton is pressed, the FILE LIST will appear on display . The number of tracks is also displa yed on the front panel. Press the Cursor b uttons ( K or L ) to select the desired g roup (f older) or track.
– 19 – EN English PLA YING A DISC Applicable WMA file Remarks Sampling fre- quency 44.1kHz 48kHz • Those frequencies are applicable to WMA v ersion 9. Bit rate 48–192kbps • Ensure that the cop yright function is set to off when preparing a WMA disc.
PLA YING A DISC – 20 – Y ou can check information on the current file. Press the DISPLA Y but t on. • The name of the file currently in play will be displa yed. <Example: MP3> Press the DISPLA Y bu tton to show the trac k number , the elapsed time, the repeat status, and the pla yback sta- tus at the top of the screen.
Some D VD discs contain scenes which have been shot simulta- neously from various angles. Y ou can change the camera angle when the ( ) mark appears on the screen. Press the ANGLE bu tton dur ing pla yback. • The selected angle will be display ed on the display bar at the top of the screen.
– 22 – EN PLA YING A DISC Y ou can check information about the current disc by pressing the DISPLA Y b utton on the remote control. Press the DISPLA Y butt on dur- ing pla yback to show the cur- rent chapter . • The elapsed and remaining playing time of the current chapter will be displa yed.
STILL MODE (Default : A UT O) • Press the Cursor b uttons ( K or L ) for an item selection (A UTO , FIELD , or FRAME), then press the ENTER b utton. • This adjusts the resolution of pictures while in the still (P A USE) mode. •A UT O is normally selected (default).
