2 GENERAL SAFETY RULES W oodworking can be dangerous if safe and pr oper operating procedures ar e not followed. As with all machinery , ther e are certain hazar ds involved with the operation of the product. Using the machine with r espect and caution will considerably lessen the possibility of personal injury .
3 IMPOR T ANT SAFETY RULES FOR DUST COLLECTORS W ARNING: Basic precautions should always be followed when using your dust collector . T o reduce the risk of injury , electrical shock or fire, comply with the safety rules listed below: 1. DO NOT leave the dust collector plugged into the electrical outlet.
4 UNP ACKING AND CLEANING Carefully unpack the tool and all loose items fr om the shipping container(s). Remove the protective coating fr om all unpainted surfaces. This coating may be removed with a soft cloth moistened wi th ke r osene (do not use acetone, gasoline or lacquer thinner for this purpose).

Align the holes in the flange (B) of the motor/blower assembly with the mounting holes in the dust intake port and fasten with four sheet metal screws (C) as shown in Fig.

Clamp the dust collection bag (B) Fig. 29, around drum (C) with the locking band (F). Assemble the remaining dust collection bag to the drum at the other side of the dust collector .
