Step 1: Connecting the Wireless-G Access Point A. Locate an optimum location for the Access Point. The best place for the Access P oint is usuall y at the center of your wireless netw ork, with line of sight to all of your mobile stations. B . Fix the direction of the antenna.
Step 2: Setting up the Wireless-G Access Point No w that you’ ve connected the Access P oint to your wired netw ork, you are ready to begin setting it up. The Setup W izard will take you through all the steps necessary to get the Access P oint connecting your wireless netw ork to your wired netw ork and communicating more eff iciently .
Wireless-G Access Point E. On the Enter Netw ork Pass w ord screen, enter the default passw ord , admin, in the Pass w ord f ield. Then click the OK button. F or added security , remember to change this passw ord later through the W eb- based Utility’ s Pass w ord screen.
Wireless-G Access Point J . The next screen will allo w you to re vie w your settings. If these settings are cor rect, click the Y es button to sa ve these settings. If there are any problems with the settings, click the No button to exit the Setup W izard.
