3 D) Once you are logged i nto the router, clic k the ADVANCED tab at t he top. Under the ADV ANCED section, select DDNS from t he left hand me nu (bl ue buttons).
4 Step 3) In t he list o f Virtua l Servers, we will a dd ports 554-5 57 first, t hen ports 80 00-8159 i n a second process. In order to add a new service for port s 554-5 57, fill in the bla nks as s hown in the scree nshot below and then click the A PPLY button.
5 Step 4) In order to add a new service for port s 8000- 8159, fill in t he blanks as s hown in the s creenshot below and then click the A PPLY button.

7 CONNECTING THE DVR TO THE ROUTER AND ASSIGNING THE IP ADDRESS --------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- The first step in the w hole process is t o setup the DVR and the ca meras. Consult your DV R manual for setup details a s explained a t the be ginning of this d ocument.
8 3) You will now see a scree n similar to the o ne shown below – t his is the Men u Setup scree n. Use the cursor butto ns to scroll down to the NETWOR K setup.
9 5) Now that y ou are in t he IP SETTIN GS setup me nu a s shown below , we need t o edit the ne twork settings to mat ch your route r. Use the cursor butto ns and ente r button to scr oll down, select a nd cha nge the IP address, and the n adjust the gatew ay and DNS .

11 Step 2) On ce you cli ck the SETUP a s shown in t he scr eenshot abo ve, you will se e a screen simi lar to the one below. Click on t he S ITE SETUP tab as sh own. Then cli ck the NEW butto n in the low er left of thi s screen and continue t o step 3 below.
12 Step 3) Once y ou click t he NEW but ton in t he lower le ft as show n in step 2, you will see the NEW DVR dialog box. Enter in the A DDRESS TYPE as STA TIC IP. The nam e should be INTE RNAL and enter the IP address tha t you set t he DVR to in this t utorial ( 192.
13 Step 4) We n ow need to a dd this site to the SITE LIST. Cli ck the ADD button as shown circled i n red in the screenshot below to a dd the site to the SI TE LIST. After yo u ADD the site to the site list, yo u then need to click the AP PLY but ton, and then CLO SE aga in to get b ack to the mai n screen.

20 TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR DVR - INTERNAL AND RE MOTE CONNEC TIONS --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- * If you get the error UNAB LE TO CONNECT can not connect to t he DVR and see e ither live or recorded video, check that the TZO DOMAIN NAME is t yped corr ectly.

22 D) Make sure the T ZO DDNS has b een insta lled on eit her a PC at t hat location or i n the ro uter. Note the domain name that you u sed. In thi s example, w e use YourDVR.tz o.com E) Leave that loca tion as soon a s possible so you can te st the current IP .
