Enter in the Use Name , Passw ord , VPI , VCI and select your connection type provided to y ou by y our ISP. Click Next button. Yo u will need to enter in the VPI, VCI and select connection type provided to you by your ISP. VPI: If instructed to change this, type in t he VPI value for the initial connection.
DSL-510 ADSL Router User ’s Guide 46 LAN LAN is short for Local Area Network. This is consi dered your internal n etwork. These are the IP settings of the LAN interface for the DSL-510. These settings may be referred to as Private settings. You ma y change the LAN IP address if needed.

Although the device has only one physical ADSL port, the Router can be defined with more than one group of PPP settings. Each group of settings is called a PPP interface and is given a name, such as ppp-0, ppp-1 , etc.
