2 CHAPTER 2: UnP ACking THE Cy ClEoPs PRo sERiEs indooR Cy ClE Place the box upright and cut the plastic binding str aps. Lif t the top of the box to expose the indoor cycle and packaging.
3 A B 1. Note the differ ence between the front and rear stabilizers. The larger stabiliz er with wheels goes in the rear of the indoor cycle (under the fl y wheel). 3. Attach the front stabiliz er to the front of the main frame with four 5mm stabi- lizer bolts and stabilizer washers using the 5mm Allen wrench.
4 Attach Seat G A seat has been included with the Cy cleOps Pro Series indoor cycle. If desired, the indoor c ycle can accommodate an off-the-shelf seat to personalize the fit, feel and ride. In some instances, a shorter seat post clamp is required for individuals under five f eet tall.
5 1. If necessary , the four outer lev eler feet can be adjusted . T urn stabilizer feet clockwise to lower the indoor cycle. T urn stabilizer feet c ounterclockwise to raise indoor cycle. Leveler F eet Lev el the Indoor C ycle Move the indoor cycle to where it will be used and lev el it by rotating the adjustable feet underneath the stabiliz ers.
6 If desired , the CycleOps P ro Series indoor cycle can accommodate any standar d pedals to personalize the fi t, feel and ride. Install using the pedal manufacturer ’ s specifi cations. Improper installation can result in damage to the crank. Damage caused by improper pedal installation is not co vered under warranty .
7 1. Adjust handlebar to maximiz e comfort or duplicate outdoor riding position. Stop the fl ywheel and dismount the in- door cycle before making adjustments. 3. T urn small L handle counterclockwise to loosen. M ove the handlebar f or ward or back to achieve pr oper handlebar position.
8 CHAPTER 5: C ommon AdJUsTmEnTs Replace Speed Sensor Battery (200 Pro only) Over time, the lithium batter y in the speed sensor will need to be changed. See Preven tative Maintenance f or when to replace . 1. Using a 4mm Allen wrench, remove the three chain guard bolts and remo ve the chain guard .
9 Replace Hub Batter ies (400 Pro/300 Pr o only) Over time, the batteries that power the electronics in the hub will need to be changed . See Prev entative Maintenance f or when to replace. The C ycleOps P ro Series indoor c ycle uses two AA batteries .
10 Adjust Fly wheel/Chain T ension Over time and after substantial use, the chain on the CycleOps P ro Series indoor c ycle will stretch. Adjusting the tension/align- ment is a diffi cult task and improper adjustment can lead to prematur e chain/cog wear .
11 1. Back off resistance until it the knob stops turning (counterclockwise). T hen turn clockwise 180 degrees (1/2 turn). 2. Loosen the clamping bolts with a 5mm Allen wrench. Align the brake pad by sliding it towar ds the fl y wheel. Stop when the pad just touches the fl ywheel.
12 WEEKL Y In addition to daily maintenance , per form the f ollowing each week: • Inspect and adjust brake pad. • Properly tight en pedals and all hardware attaching toe clips/str aps (if applicable). Tighten pedals to 300 in-lbs. • Inspect handlebar clamp assembly .
