5 5. Plug the power cord into the pr essure cooker and then into the wall outlet. The LED display will show . OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS With the u nit on an d the LED disp layed, press the MENU button to select the desired cooking function. The function light will fla sh.
6 Steam will immediately begin to release thr ough the valve. Keep face and hands away from steam as it is released, and do not r elease pressur e under hanging cabinets, which can be damaged by steam. When pressur e is fully released, the pressur e indicator will drop and the lid will unlock to open.
7 Note: Overfilling the pressur e cooker (see Instructions for Use) may clog the pressur e limit valve which can cause excess pressur e to develop. 4. Anti-Block Cover Prevents any food material fr om blocking the pressur e limit valve.
8 Note: The side with the knob should face outward. Do not put it upside down (figures 7 and 8). 7. T o clean rubber grommet located in centre of sealing ring supporting cover , carefully r emove the sealing ring supporting cover and clean the grommet, then r eplace it.
