5 READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLATION INSTALLING YOUR PHONE 1. Plug one end of the Handset Cord (curly) into the Handset and the other end into the jack on the side of the telephone. 2. Plug on e en d o f the l ine cord ( st raigh t) into the telephon e line jack on t he back of the t elephone and the other e nd into the telephone modular wa ll jack.

7 Three emergency nu m bers can be stored into one touch speed dial . You may wish to store the nu mbers of your local police, fire depar tment and EMS services on the Emergency Speed -Dial Bu ttons, so that you can quickly dial the m. 1. Program these nu mbers by pre ssing the STORE but ton, then the de s ired Emerge ncy Button.

9 USING THE ON E-TOUCH SPEE D DIAL MEM ORY There are two ways to dial a one- touch speed dial memory. 1. Press a one-touch memory key. The display will show the number. Press D IAL 2. Pick up the handset or press S PEA KER , and then press a one-touc h memory key.
10 NOTE: If you do no t complete ea ch step within 15 seconds, the phone ex its setup. Start again at Step 1. 1. Press MENU un til -1- and “ SET LDS CODE ” appears.
