Prestige 971M Quick Start Guide 2 Introduction The Prestige 971M (P-9 71M) is a DOCSIS complian t full- duplex cable modem. In ord er to use your P-971M, you need to establish an Internet access ac count with your cable service company . Note: T o identify your modem with the cable serv ice company , you need to tell them the HFC MAC address.
