11 4 Set-Up and Oper ation Installing the UPS is as easy as follo wing the steps sho wn. 4.1 Inspection Remove the UPS f rom its pack aging and i nspect it for damage that ma y have oc curred during shipping. If an y damage is discovered, repack the unit a nd retur n i t to th e place of purchase.
12 4.3 Charging This unit is shipped from the f actor y with its internal batter y fully c harged, however, som e power m ay be lost during shipping and the batter y s hould b e recharged prior to use.
13 Use one more internet line cable and p lug one end of the internet line cab le to the “Out” s ock et at t he bac k of the PROTECT A. UPS. Plug t he other end of the modem input socket as sho wn below.
