5. Appendix 15 10/25/2010 10:23 AM DMX Primer There are 512 channels in a DMX connection. A fixt ure capable of receiving DMX will require one or a number of sequential channels. The user must assign a starting address on the fi xture that indicates the first channel reserved in the cont roller.
