6 Installation Y our extractor can be used to filter and r ecycle the air within your kitc hen, or to extract the air outside. When extr acting air to the outside, the unit can be vented as shown in the diagr am below . Note that we recommend the use of ducting with a diameter of 1 50mm.
7 Fitting your extr actor to the w all Next, remov e the top cover by loosening the scr ews (b), closing the front panel and then lifting the c over off. The extractor is mount ed using four scr ews. Ensur e that the wall fixings and scr ews are suit able for the wall mat erial.
8 Fitting your extr actor to the w all Insert the 4 wall plugs in to the holes and fix 2 scr ews in the top holes so that they ar e protruding fr om the wall by appro x 5mm (fig 1 2).
9 Using the extr act or as an extr action device W ork out the r equir ed height of the optional chimney for your ceiling and mount the c himney fixing brack et as shown in the (fig 1 6), then secur e the chimney as shown in (fig 1 7a). Finally , locate the chimney to the body of the extractor as shown in (fig 1 8).
