6 Installation IMPOR T ANT : The extr actor is intended t o be mounted dir ectly to the ceiling using fixings appr opriate for the c eiling. Ensure that ther e is adequate c eiling strength and supports at the fixing points; if in doubt, consult a joiner or electrician.
7 Mounting your extr act or 1 . Using the supplied template, mark the positions of the 3 main fixing holes and the additional fixing hole (X) on the ceiling. 2. Drill and plug the holes, as requir ed. If screwing directly t o the ceiling joists, plugs may not be r equir ed (See Important note above) 3.
