7 ● Do not use your washing machine to wash articles with whalebones, material without hems or torn material. ● Always unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply after use, clean and maintenance. ● This appliance is provided with a white drum light.
● Do not overload the appliance. See the relevant section in the user manual. ● Before washing, ensur e that all pockets are empty and buttons and zips are fastened. Avoid washing frayed or torn articles and tr eat stains such as paint, ink, rust, and grass befor e washing.

Pr ogramme pr ogress display After having pressed the button 8 , the display shows the running phase of the washing progr am 7.9 . On the display you can see also the description of the selected type of fabric, an animated bar , that indicates the carried out cycle and the remaining one, the dur ation of the washing program and the end of cycle.
13 Use Fir st Use Ensure that the electrical and water connections comply with the installation instructions. Remove the polystyrene block and any material fr om the drum. Run a cotton cycle at 90 or 95°C , without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue fr om the drum and tub.
14 Use P er sonalization This appliance is provided with a SETTINGS menu that allows you to modify the factory settings as you want. When you switch on the machine, by turning the progr amme selector dial, press the button 4 to activate the OPTIONS menu.
15 Use Return to main menu This setting function allows you to return to the option menu. Locate the BACK option by pressing the button 4 . Press the button 5 to confirm your choice. Daily Use Load the laundry 1. Open the door by carefully pulling the door handle outwards .
Select the r equired pr ogramme by means of pr ogramme selector dial ( 1 ) Y ou can choose the right programme for any type of laundry following the descriptions on the washing progr amme tables (see «Washing Progr ammes»). Turn the pr ogramme selector dial to the requir ed programme.
17 Use NIGHT CYCLE: by selecting this option, the machine will not dr ain the water of the last rinse, so as not to wrinkle the laundry . As all spinning phases are suppr essed, this washing cycle is very noiseless and it can be selected at night or in times with a more economical power r ate .
18 Use Select the ST AIN option Select this option to treat heavily soiled or stained laundry with stain r emover (extended main wash with time optimised stain action phase). This option is not available with a temperatur e lower than 40°C. Attention! If you wish to perform a progr amme with the stain option, pour stain remover into compartment .
19 Use To change the memorized pr ogramme setting repeat the pr ocedure from the beginning. Note If the memory space is already used by a pr ogramme previously selected, the display will show the message «Memory full. Press OK to overwrite it. Pr ess OPTION to cancel» .
20 Use Select the TIME SAVING option (button 6 ) The washing machine pr oposes by default the washing cycle for «Normally soiled laundry». The washing cycle can be shorted by means of this button. This option can be selected with the washing progr ammes for COTTONS, SYNTHETICS and DELICATES.
21 Use Y ou can cancel the delay time at any moment, before you press the button 8 . Cancelling the delayed start: ● set the washing machine to PAUSE by pr essing the button 8 ; ● press the button 9 until the symbol disappears on the display ● press the button 8 again to start the pr ogramme.
22 Use Opening the door after the pr ogramme has started First set the machine to pause by pr essing the button 8 . ● If the messages «Paused» is steady on the display , the door can be opened.

26 Progr amme informations Pr ogr amme informations HYGIENE The washing progr am for white cottons. This progr am eliminates the micro-or ganisms thanks to the washing by 60°C and an additional rinse.
27 Progr amme informations Pr ogr amme informations ECONOMY This progr amme can be selected for slightly or normally soiled cotton items. The temper ature will decrease and the washing time will be extended. This allows to obtain a good washing efficiency by saving energy .
28 Preparing the wash cycle Pr eparing the wash cycle Sorting out the laundry Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer’ s washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites , coloureds, synthetics , delicates, woollens .
29 Preparing the wash cycle Maximum loads Recommended loads are indicated in the washing pr ogramme charts. General rules: Cotton, linen: drum full but not too tightly packed; Synthetics: drum no more than half full ; Delicate fabrics and woollens: drum no more than one thir d full.
30 Preparing the wash cycle Rust: oxalic acid dissolved in hot water or a rust removing pr oduct used cold. Be careful with rust stains which ar e not recent since the cellulose structure will already have been damaged and the fabric tends to hole. Mould stains: treat with bleach, rinse well (whites and fast colour eds only).
31 Preparing the wash cycle The washing machine incorporates a r ecirculation system which allows an optimal use of the concentrated deter gent. P our liquid detergent into the dispenser drawer compartment marked just before starting the pr ogramme.
32 Care and cleaning Car e and cleaning Y ou must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply , before you can carry out any cleaning or maintenance work. Descaling The water we use normally contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.
33 Care and cleaning 2. Remove the conditioner insert from the middle compartment. 3. Clean all parts with water . 4. Put the conditioner insert in as far as it will go, so that it is firmly in place. 5. Clean all parts of the washing ma- chine, especially the nozzles in the top of the washing-in chamber , with a brush.
34 Care and cleaning 3. Open the pump door . 4. Place a container close to the pump to collect any spillage. 5. Release the emergency emptying hose, place it in the container and remove its cap. 6. When no more water comes out, unscrew the pump and r emove it.
W ater inlet filter If you notice that the machine is taking longer to fill, check that the filter in the water inlet hose is not blocked. 1. Turn off the water tap. 2. Unscrew the hose fr om the tap. 3. Clean the filter in the hose with a stiff brush.
36 What to do if... What to do if... Certain problems ar e due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer . Before contacting your local Service Centre, please carry out the checks listed below .
37 What to do if... Problem Possible cause/Solution The machine fills then empties immediately: The end of the drain hose is too low . ● Refer to relevant par agraph in «water drainage» section. The machine does not empty and/or does not spin: The drain hose is squashed or kinked.
38 What to do if... There is water on the floor: Too much deter gent or unsuitable detergent (creates too much foam) has been used. ● Reduce the detergent quantity or use another one . Check whether there ar e any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings.
39 What to do if... No water is visible in the drum: Machines based on modern technology operate very economically using very little water without affecting performance. The machine vibrates or is noisy: The transit bolts and packing have not been r emoved.

42 Installation Installation Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be r emoved before using the appliance. Y ou are advised to keep all transit devices so that they can be r efitted if the machine ever has to be transported again.
43 Installation 4. Unscrew and r emove the two large rear bolts B and the six smaller bolts C . 5. Remove the bracket D and tighten up the six smaller bolts C . Slide out the relevant plastic spacer E. 6. Open the porthole, take out the inlet hose from the drum and remove the polystyr ene block fitted on the door seal.
44 P ositioning and levelling Install the machine on a flat hard floor . Make sure that air cir culation around the machine is not impeded by carpets, rugs etc. Before placing it on small tiles , apply a rubber coating. Never try to correct any unevenness in the floor by putting pieces of wood, cardboar d or similar materials under the machine.
45 Do not place the inlet hose downwards . Angle the hose to the left or right depending on the position of your water tap. 3. Set the hose correctly by loosening the ring nut. After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to tighten the ring nut again to prevent leaks .
Place the drain hose into your standpipe, which should have an internal diameter of approximately 38mm thus ensuring there is an air break between the dr ain hose and standpipe. When discharging into a standpipe ensure that the top of the standpipe is no more than 90 cm (35.
If you intend the drain hose fr om the machine to empty into a sink, make sure that the sink is empty and the plug hole is not blocked. Use the plastic “U -Piece” supplied.
