.0 5 . TUTORIAL The fi rst time you play MotoGP 08 you may wish to try the tutorial mode. This will help you decide what motorcycle and racing style suits you best. To enter tutorial mode, toggle the option to START TUTORIAL and press A . The tutorial plunges you immediately into an arcade race but will offer hints and tips from the start.
.0 6 . THE RACING SCREEN 1. Lap Indicator Shows the number of laps you have completed. 2. Position Shows your current position in the race. 3. Record Displays the current record lap time. 4 . Lap Time Displays your last lap time. 5. Direction A direction arrow will appear to give you warning of upcoming bends.
.0 7 . MAIN MENU . CAREER Career mode challenges you to create and develop a new rider over fi ve racing seasons with the aim of becoming the ultimate MotoGP champion. You will be able to choose a team and bike class at the beginning of each season for your customized rider.
.08 . MAIN MENU . CHALLENGES 50 unique challenges await the ambitious rider. If you have the nerve to take them on and the skill to see them through, you’ll be rewarded with hidden content. Challenges are divided into the following categories: Speed Stay above the speed indicated and fi nish inside the allotted time.
