English Edition E Direct Printing fr om PictBridge -compatible Printers This camera is compatible with PictBridge for direct printing with PictBridge-compatible printers. Connect the camera to a PictBridge-compatible printer to print nice photos easily .

4 Printing Y ou do all the printing operations with the camera. h images cannot be printed with PictBridge. Select the image to be printed. • Check that the < w > icon is displa yed on the upper left of the LCD monitor . • Tu rn the < > dial to select the image to be printed.
5 Setting the Printing Options Date imprinting Set the Date imprinting. • Tu rn the < > dial to select [ H ] (Date), then press < >. s Tu rn the < > dial to select the desired setting, then press < >.
6 Setting the Printing Options Y ou can trim the image and print only the tr immed por tion. Set [ P aper Settings ] beforehand. If you trim the image and then change the [ P aper Settings ], you ma y hav e to set the trimming again. Setting the T rimming T rim the image.
7 Setting the Printing Options Exit the trimming. • Press < > to retur n to the print setting screen. 3 • The operation guide disappears while y ou trim the image. It will reappear after 5 sec. of idle time . The [ T rimming ] setting will be canceled after the pr inting is completed or if y ou e xecute [ Cancel ].
8 Setting the P aper and P age La y out Set the < T > (P aper Size), < Y > (P aper T ype), and < U > (P age La yout). Depending on your printer , certain settings might be different or might not be av ailable. For details, refer to your printer’ s instruction manual.

10 DPOF Printing With DPOF , you can print any n umber of images at one time. T o set the printing options, see the DPOF section in your camer a’ s instruction manual. Prepare for printing. • See pages 2 and 3. Proceed up to step 5 where you turn on the camera’ s power s witch.
11 DPOF Printing Start printing. • Tu rn the < > dial to select [ OK ], then press < >. s The printing will star t. • When the printing ends, the screen will return to step 3 . 6 • F or the DPOF print type, [ Both ] cannot be selected.
