34 H EN PRE-W ASH BUTTON This option is particular ly useful f or heavily soiled loads and can be used only on some progr ammes as shown in the pr ogrammes table. Detergent f or this progr amme should be added to the compartment of the soap drawer labelled “I” (Please refer to Detergent Dr awer Section of m anual).
36 EN “DIGITAL ” DISPLA Y The display’s indicator system allows y ou to be constantly inf or med about the status of the machine: 1) W ASH TEMPERA TURE When a progr amme is selected the relev ant indicator will light up to show the maxim um possible wash temperature.
38 M EN 6) PROGRAMME ST ART LIGHT This lights up when the START button has been pressed. 7) DEGREE OF SOILING When a progr amme is selected the relev ant indicator will light up to show the minimum possible degree of soiling. Selecting a greater degree of soiling using the special button will cause the corresponding indicator to light up.

52 EN 53 CHAPTER 8 SELECTION For the various types of fa br ics and various degrees of dirt the washing machine has 4 dif ferent programme bands according to: w ash c ycle, temperature and lenght of cycle (see table of w ashing c ycle progr ammes).
54 EN 55 4. SPECIALS SPECIAL “RINSE” PROGRAMME This progr amme carries out three rinses with a intermediate spin (w hich can be reduced or excluded by using the correct button). It can be used f or rinsing any type of fa br ic, eg. use after hand- w ashing.
56 EN 57 WO OLMARK PR OGRAMME The special cycle, certified by W OOLMARK, enables to thoroughly w ash garments without damaging them. The cycle comprises of alternate per iods of activity and pauses with a maxim um temperature of 40°C and concludes with 3 rinses and a short spin.

MAXIMISE THE LO AD SIZE Achiev e the best use of energy , water , detergent and time by using the recommended maxim um load size. Save up to 50% ener gy by w ashing a full load instead of 2 half loads.
64 65 EN W ASHING V ARIABLE C AP ACITY This washing m achine automatically adapts the lev el of the water to the type and quantity of washing. In this way it is also possible to obtain a “personalized” wash from an energy saving point of vie w . This system gives a decrease in energy consumption and a sensible reduction in washing times.
