6 V entilation IMPORT ANT - The unit will become ho t when in use. Do not stack multiple units on top of each other . Do not place in an enclosed area such as a bookcase or in a cabinet without sufficient ventilation. Ensure that small objects do not fall through an y ventilation grille.

9 CD30 ENGLISH F ront panel controls Standby / On CD30 1 Standby/On Switches the unit between a low po wer Standby mode (indicated by dim po wer LED) and on (indicated by bright po wer LED). Standby is a low pow er mode where the power consumption is less than 5 Watts.
10 Remote control The CD30 is supplied with a Navigat or remote control that operates this unit, and which can also operate a matching AR30 or DR30 2. 1 receiver and their supplied docking station for iP od, and/or a DV30 D VD player . Always use alkaline batteries.
11 CD30 ENGLISH Source buttons (CD, D VD, Aux, T uner, MP3) Press relevant sour ce button to select desired input source. The following butt ons access features on the matching AR30/DR30 2-channel receivers. Mute Mutes the audio on the unit. Press again to cancel mut e.
12 The disc tray can be opened at an y time by pressing the Stop/Eject button. If the disc is playing, press St op/Eject f irst to stop pla yback and then press again to eject the disc. Only remove the disc after the tra y has fully opened. Note: - Do not put anything e xcept a Compact Disc into the tra y, foreign objects ma y damage the mechanism.
13 CD30 ENGLISH Repeating discs and tracks 1. Ensure that the disc is loaded. 2. Press the Repeat T rack button on the remote contr ol. ‘RPT- TRK’ will appear on the display . The current track will now be repeated until the function is turned off by pressing Repeat T rack button.
Selecting a track directly Use the 1-9 numeric buttons on the remot e control to select any track directly f or playback, either in St op or Playback modes. For tracks great er than 9 use press the ‘-/--’ button on the remot e to add ten to the number you are entering i.
