7 NP30 ENGLISH USB Use to connect a USB storage device or another por table de vice containing music files. 500mA maximum current consumption. Standby/On When po wering up from standb y the Standby/On LED will flash appr oximately once a second as the unit boots up , the display will initially be blank before 'Star ting…' appears.
8 Remot e control Important! The default mode for the re mote allows combined contr ol of the NP30 and Cambridge Audio Azur range am plifiers. The r emote can be set to cont r ol t he Cambr idge Audio Sona ta range receiv ers (AR30 /DR3 0) or Cambri dge Audi o A/V Receivers inst ead.

Connecting to a wireless netw ork Plac e the NP30 in range of y our wirele ss networ k (usu ally 10 -30m of a s uitab le wireless transmitter , although this is af f ected by walls and the construction of your building) and turn it on, via the back panel switch and then on the front panel.
11 NP30 ENGLISH Media UPnP Ser vers Local Media Queue UPnP is by far the pref erred method as it allows for br owsing by artist, album and other metho ds, has s upport for contro l fro m W i-Fi c ontr oller a nd the media can be shared amongst several de vices.
12 Alphameric Search This is a search function menu inser ted by the NP30 into the br owse tree of UPnP servers that suppor t an ext ernal search function. Where available you can select Alphameric search and then enter the name or partial name of an album or track you wish to find.
Presets The NP30 suppor ts 20 pr esets. These ca n be UuV ol Radio stations or st reams from most Streaming Services. UPnP/Local media cannot be set as a preset.. T o add a station/stream to a preset first select that stream for playback in the normal way .
14 Enter the networ k name This option allows the NP30 t o sear ch f or and connect to a particular netw ork name only . T ype your network name in using the alphanumeric entry screen. If no matching network is f ound 'Network not f ound' will be display ed.
15 NP30 ENGLISH Wired/Wireless connection It is possible t o connect y our NP30 t o your network via an a vailable Ethernet connection (RJ45) or via a Wi-Fi router .
