4 Limited warranty V entilation IMPORT ANT – The unit will become hot when in use. Do not stack multiple units on top of each other . Do not place in an enclosed area such as a bookcase or in a cabinet without sufficient ventilation. Ensure that small objects do not fall thr ough any ventilation grille.
5 65 1C azur Rear panel connections AC po wer socket Once you ha ve complet ed all connections to the amplifier , plug the AC power cable int o an appropriat e mains socket and turn the unit on. Y our compact disc play er is now ready f or use. Pow er On/Of f Switches the unit on and off.
6 Display functions Play Illuminated during disc pla yback. Pause Indicates that disc pla yback has been paused. Display Alpha-numeric characters which displa y playback inf ormation. On inser ting a disc, the CD play er will take a f ew seconds to read the T able of Cont ents (TOC) inf ormation from the disc.
Speaker A/B T oggles the speaker terminals on the rear panel t o output speaker A only , speaker B only , both speak ers A and B or no speaker output at all. The speak er indicators on the front panel of the amplifier sho w which speaker terminals are select ed.
Loading and unloading discs 1. Press the Open/Close ( ) button. 2. When the disc tra y has opened fully , place a disc carefully in the tray with the label side facing up.
9. Y ou can use the Skip/Scan ( ) buttons on your remo te control t o mov e through your pr ogrammed selection in the same way as normal playback. 10. Pressing the button during pla yback will take y ou back to the ‘Program Mode’ stage.
10 Filter settings The 65 1C use the WM87 42 Digital to Analogue Conv er ter (D AC) fr om Wolfson Micr oelectronics. The 65 1C has two DA Cs in dual dif ferential (i.e. one per channel, in an internally balanced mode). These v er y high quality par ts allow a range of filt ers to be selected.
