2.3 U sing the tablet Power on the device • Press and hold t he Power button for 2 seconds in order to turn on the device. Sleep mode • Pressing the Power butt on will activate/deactivate sleep mo de when the device is turned on. Using pre-installed ap ps • To open and u se the pre-in stalled apps, simply touch the relevant ico n/app.
Personalising your d esktop • To add a n app to the ho me/desktop screen, access the applications screen (Fig 2.5 .2). Touch and ho ld the app you would want on the desktop. The desktop will a ppear behind the icon. Mo ve the icon to the desired area of the desktop a nd release th e icon to confirm the place ment.

The widget deskt op Fig.2.3.2 As shown in Fig.2.3.2, t he Andro id 4.0 interface has a toolbar at th e bottom to the screen for ease of navigation. In some ca ses, the toolbar icons will be minimized and are denoted by grey dots. Simply to uch on the dot to re -enable the toolbar.

Instal ling apps The busbi7 includes a suite of app s via the busbi app in the applications page as shown in section 2.5. The busbi app wi ll allow you to install a suite of apps which have been preinstalle d on the tablet device. Please f ollow the onscreen instruction s f or installing the require d app.
