MAKIN G WIRIN G CONNECTIONS 1. S tr ip back two inches of insulation on the wir e fr om the k e yless entry . 2. Strip back one inch of insulation on t he wir e y ou need to connect to. One Inch of Bar e W ire T wo Inches of Bar e W ire 3. Separ at e the v ehicle wire as shown.
4. Insert the wir e from the unit t hrough the hole as shown. 6. Use electr ical t ape to wr ap. Be sur e to cover t he wire about two inches on eit her side of the connection. First pull t he wire t hat you ha v e just connect ed along side the wir e you connected to, tape and wire tie t hem toget her.

7 MOUNTING AND CONNECTIN G THE O VERRIDE SWITCH Select a location for the ov err ide switch. Y ou should be able to r each t he switch when sitting in the dr iv er's seat, but the switch should be har d to find. A typical mounting location is under t he dash.
TESTING: Door Locks Ther e are t hree basic types: “T ype A ” Door Loc k T es t (Most GMs and some Chryslers) Probe both of your door lock wires going t o the door lock switch usall y located in t he driv er’s kick panel. Att ach the clip end of your tes t light to a good chassis gr ound.
CONNECTING “T YPE C LOCKS” •If your vehicle has a “ T ype C ” door locking syst em, you will need to purchase optional part #778. Once you ha v e pur chased the r elays, follow the diagr am on page 1 8 for “ T ype C ” door locks. T YPE C - (Optional P art #778 r equired) R ev erse polar ity door locks.

OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS 1. Arming Pr ess tr ansmitter button #1 to ar m the sys tem. The sir en will chir p 1 time, the lights will flash once, t he po w er door locks will lock (if installed), and the LED will f lash slowl y indicating t he alarm is now armed.
PR OGRAMMIN G INSTR UCTIONS 11. Instant Personal P anic Pr ess and release tr ansmitt er button #4 to sound the instant panic sir en. The lights and siren will activ at e for 30 seconds and then shut of f. T o stop t he siren bef ore t he 30 seconds, press an y of the 4 tr ansmitter buttons.
3. Setting t he Shock Sensor's Sensitivity Disarm t he system, pr ess and hold button #4 for 10 seconds. The system will chir p once. Within 2 seconds, press button #1. The system will chip twice. Within 2 seconds, str ike your vehicle wit h as much force as you w ant t he alarm t o respond to.
