If selection of balance point temperature is such that it is below thermal balance point, all operation between these 2 temperatures will be part HP and part furnace. A heating cycle will begin with HP operation. Because HP has insufficient capacity, structure temperature will slowly fall.

OPERATIONAL INFORMATION FIVE-MINUTE COMPRESSOR TIMEGUARD This timer prevents the compressor from starting unless it has been off for at least 5 minutes. It can be defeated for 1 cycle by simultaneously pressing the FAN mode button and the INCREASE TEMPERATURE button.
