2 a Remove t he protective t ap e and film covering the machine, and also from the LCD. b Rem ove the plastic bag a containing the ink cartridges from on top of the pape r tray. c Make s ure you ha ve all the component s. 2 Connect the po w er cor d WARNING The machine must be fitted with an earthed pl ug.

4 f Gently p ush the back of t he in k cartridge marked “PUSH” until t h e cartridge l ever lifts. After all the ink cartridges are installed, close th e ink cart ridge cove r. 5 Lo ad pl ai n A4 pa per a Pull the paper tray a c om ple tely o ut o f the machine.
5 e Gently put the paper into the paper tray print side down and top edge first. Check that the paper is f lat in the tray. f Gently adjust the paper width guides to the paper with both hands. Make sure that the paper width guides touch the edges of the paper.
