3 I. INSTRUCTION FOR T HE INSTALLE R Congratulations! You have just purchased a new Bro ilKing Manual Convection Ove n. Let’s go over some of the basics before you start using your new oven. 1. DATA PLATE 2. CERTIFICATION 2.1 The “ MET ” mark on our data labels and on our user manual refers to the MET Product Safety Listing.
4 4. INSTALLATION 4.1 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION • Connection to the electrical power so u rce must be done according to all state and local cod es. Before connecting y our oven, make sure that the volta ge and the amps compl y w ith those stated on the data plate of your oven.
5 3. CONTROL PANEL 3.1 TIME DIAL • To operate your oven for a set ti me , you must first turn the time dial clockwise to the time y ou choose, from 0 to 60 minutes (if you’re facing the oven, it is th e dial on the left side of the control p anel).
6 ♦ Periodic inspections of the exhaust tube in the back of the oven should be made to insure it is clear for ventilation. If any residue is present, clean with a simple bottle brush.
7 IV. MAINTENANCE 1. ORDINARY MAINTE NANCE • All maintenance operatio ns must be done only by tr ained qualified personnel. • Before starting an y maintenance oper ation, disconnect your oven from the electric al power supply and wait for it to cool down.

9 VII. C OOKIN G GUIDE The first and most important step will be: Have your new oven connected to the proper pow er source. If there is an y doubt about t he proper power o r the conn ections, have the ov en in stalled by a qualified electrician accordin g to your local codes.
10 Room temperatur e dough will spread out more than frozen or refrigerate d dough. The colder the dou gh, the less the cookie will spread / flatten out during baking.
11 • Bread ♦ Large loaves (1 lb -1 ½ lb) baked in 30 - 40 minut es at 325ºF. ♦ We found that you can bake dinner rolls using the same method as y ou do f or biscuits. • Pies The variables for bak ery products are endless, and pies are no exception.
12 ♦ Truss the chicken before roasting for more even cooking and e ye appeal. • Burgers ♦ Lay your ¼ pound frozen burgers out onto a sheet pan and season to taste. P lace them into 350ºF oven for about 10 to 12 minutes. ♦ Hamburger should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 ºF to be safe according to HACCP guideline s.
13 VIII. WARRANTY • BroilKing warrants these ovens (in the United States a nd Canada) to be free from defects in mate rial and workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase, unless otherwise noted below***.
