3 W ARNING • This appliance shall be used OUTDOORS only . Do NOT use in a building, home, garage, balcony , porch, tent or any other enclosed ar ea. Fryers/Boilers shall not be used on or under apartment or condominium balcony or deck. Do NOT install or use in or on recr eational vehicles and/or boats.
4 W ARNING • In the event of rain, snow , hail, sleet or other forms of precipitation while cooking with oil/grease, cover the cooking vessel immediately and turn off the appliance burner and gas supply . Do not attempt to move the appliance or cooking vessel.
5 W ARNING LP GAS CYLINDER (NOT SUPPLIED WITH THIS FR YER) The LP (Liquid Propane) gas cylinder specifically designed to be used with this fryer must have a 20 lb. (9.1 kg) capacity incorporating a T ype 1 cylinder valve and an over -filling protection device (OPD).
6 • T urn off the cylinder valve when your fryer is not in use. • Handle the tank with care. • Always secure the cylinder in an upright position. • Never connect an unregulated LP gas cylinder to your fryer . • DO NOT expose LP gas cylinders to excessive heat or ignition sources.
HOSE AND REGULA TOR: Y our fryer is equipped with a T ype 1 connection device with the following features: 1. The system will not allow gas flow from the cylinder until a positive connection to the valve has been made. No t e: The cylinder valve must be turned off before any connection is made or removed.
W ARNING DANGER 8 CONNECTING HOSE AND REGULA TOR TO AN LP GAS CYLINDER • Insure the cylinder valve is CLOSED prior to connecting the LP gas cylinder to your fryer . T urn the regulator contr ol knob clockwise to properly close the valve. Read and follow all instructions and warnings on the supply hose safety tags.
GAS LEAK TESTING: 1. Create a mixture of 50% water and 50% liquid dishwashing soap. 2. T o turn on the fuel supply , tur n the cylinder valve knob one turn counterclockwise.
10 Property damage, bodily harm, sever e burns, and death could result from failur e to follow these safety steps. These steps should be performed after the fryer has been assembled, stored, moved, cleaned, or repair ed. DO NOT operate this fryer until you have read and understand ALL of the warnings and instructions in this manual.
5. Strike and place a wooden match through lighting hole to approximately 1/2" (1 to 2cm) from the burner . 6. Push and hold red cap near bottom of control panel for 30 seconds.
12 Read, understand and follow all warnings and instructions contained in this manual. DO NOT skip any of the warnings and instructions contained in the preceding sections of this manual. • Never leave heating oil unattended - it can ignite. • Smoking oil is an indication that the oil is too hot and may ignite.
Note: W hen deep frying a whole turkey , select a turkey in the 10 to 18 lb. range and thaw completely . Step 1: Determine the amount of oil requir ed by following instructions above. WARNING: Fryer thermometer should not be inserted into food or touching food when measuring temperature of cooking oil.
Step 6: When food is done, turn fryer OFF . Always turn propane cylinder valve OFF first, then turn the regulator contr ol knob OFF . Allow fryer and oil to cool completely . Never attempt to drain oil or move cooking vessel until oil has cooled below 115˚F (45˚C) - Severe burns could result.
BURNER ASSEMBL Y/MAINTENANCE • Keep appliance area clear and fr ee from combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors and liquids. • Although your burner is constructed of cast iron, it may rust as a result of the extr eme heat and acids from cooking foods.

INST ALLA TION STEPS Step 1 Use M6 x 8mm bolts to attach U-shaped leg to cooker body as illustrated. Repeat for other two U-shaped legs. Step 2 Attach burner , air damper , spring and hose/control panel assembly by thr eading the burner onto the hose/control panel assembly as illustrated.
Step 4 Remove retaining nut fr om flameout probe. Insert the flameout probe thr ough the hole next to the control panel, so the tip of the probe is above the burner flame ports. Secure with retaining nut. Step 5 Use two M5 x 8mm bolts to secure contr ol panel to top ring of cooker body as illustrated.

22 ADVER TENCIA • La introducción de agua o hielo pr oveniente de cualquier fuente dentro del aceite/grasa puede causar saturación y quemaduras graves debido a las salpicaduras del aceite caliente y el agua.
ADVER TENCIA EL CILINDRO DE GAS LP (NO EST Á PROVISTO CON EST A FREIDORA) El cilindro de gas LP (Pr opano Líquido), específicamente diseñado para ser usado con esta freidora, debe tener 20 libras (9,1 kg) de capacidad, una válvula de cilindr o Tipo 1 y un dispositivo de protección de la sobr esaturación (OPD) incorporados.

MANGUERA Y REGULADOR: Su freidora está equipada con un dispositivo de conexión de Tipo 1 con las siguientes características: 1. El sistema no permitirá el flujo de gas proveniente del cilindro hasta no haber r ealizado una conexión positiva con la válvula.
ADVER TENCIA PELIGRO 26 P ARA CONECT AR LA MANGUERA Y EL REGULADOR A UN CILINDRO DE GAS LP • Asegúrese de que la válvula del cilindr o esté CERRADA antes de conectar el cilindro de gas LP a su freidora. Gir e la perilla de control del r egulador hacia la derecha para cerrar la válvula apropiadamente.
PRUEBAS DE DETECCIÓN DE FUGAS DE GAS: 1. Cree una mezcla con 50% de agua y 50% de jabón líquido para lavar la vajilla. 2. Para abrir el suministro del combustible, haga girar la perilla de la válvula del cilindro una vuelta hacia la izquierda.

5. Encienda y coloque un fósforo de madera a través del orificio de encendido aproximadamente a 1/2 pulgada (de 1 a 2 cm) de distancia del quemador . 6. Presione y mantenga pr esionada la tapa roja cer ca de la parte inferior del panel de control durante 30 segundos.

Nota: Al freír por inmersión un pavo enter o, seleccione un pavo que pese entre 10 a 18 libras y descongélel ocompletamente. Paso 1: Determine la cantidad de aceite que va a utilizar siguiendo las instrucciones previamente mencionadas.

MONT AJE/MANTENIMIENTO DEL QUEMADOR • Mantenga el área despejada y libre de materiales combustibles, gasolina u otr os vapores y líquidos inflamables. • A pesar de que su quemador está construido con hierro fundido, puede oxidarse como resultado del intenso calor y de los ácidos provenientes de los alimentos de cocción.

P ASOS DE INST ALACIÓN Paso 1 Use pernos M6 x 8mm para anexar la pata con forma en U al armazón de la cocina como se ilustra. Repita lo mismo para las otras dos patas en forma de U.
Paso 4 Extraiga la tuerca de r etención de la sonda de extinción. Inserte la sonda de extinción a través del orificio próximo al panel de contr ol para que el extremo de la sonda se ubique por encima de los puertos de la llama del quemador . Asegure con una tuer ca de retención.
