When the mower is in neutr al and can be pushed by hand without depressing the brak e lever , the transaxle brake needs adjustment.

A properly balanced blade will increase lif e of the bearings and other components. T ools required: ratchet, 3/4 ” inch socket, torque wrench, ade- quate suppor t, bloc k to inhibit blade rotation.
