Intr oduction Boston Acoustics Designer DSi Systems In-ceiling speakers with an impressive lineage.Styled to blend into any decorating scheme. Given the intelligent engineering inside, a Designer DSi speaker will make its presence known to any set of critical ears in the room.
DSi455T2 The DSi455T2 is designed for use in small rooms, hallways, bath- rooms, and closets wher e there is not enough room for a pair of loudspeakers. This two input speaker with its two tweeters and dual voice coil woofer allows for the repr oduction of both the left and right channel of music from a single speaker location.

– 9 – All Installations 1. Strip 1/2-inch (13mm) of insula- tion from the wir e, and twist the wire strands together . The DSi speaker jack will accept either bare wir e up to 12-gauge, or single banana plugs.(DSi455, DSi455T2, DSi255, DSi265 14 guage.
– 10 – 5. Aim the pivoting tweeter toward the prime listening posi- tion by pressing on the edge of the tweeter island. (DSi455, DSi465 and DSi485 only .) Do not press on the tweeter dome. 6. Insert the grille into the slots in the baffle by gently applying pressur e along the edge.
– 11 – The Speaker Grille 1. Remove the grille logo. It is mounted with a “tie tack” style fastener . Set it aside for later reinstallation. (except DSi255) 2. Carefully remove the cloth fr om the inside of the grille. Set it aside in a clean location for later reinstallation.
