4 1. Introduction Thank You for purchasi ng Tannoy PowerDual™ iQ 10. The iQ 10 has been desig ned for live and fixed installation music and speech sound reinforcement applications. They are spec ifically design ed for use in venues, theatres, arenas and di stributed systems in stadiu ms.
5 Cable choice con sists mainly of selecting the correct cross sectional area in relation to the cable length and t he load impedance. A small cross sectional area would increase the cables series resi stance, i nducing power loss and resp onse variations (damping factor).
6. Equalisation Over equalisation can reduce system headr o om, and introduce phase di stortion resulting in greater proble ms than cures. If equalisat ion is required then it sho uld be applied gently and smoothly. Violent equali sat ion will be detrimental to the overall sound quality.
