63 of 80 8.0 E4 System Troubleshooting 8.2.3 Amplifier fault The AM P OUTPUT LEDs w ork in pai rs (1 an d 2, 3 and 4) a nd indi - cate the operati ng status of the four amp lifier output channel s. When an amplifi er fault occurs, the amp lifier mutes its outputs and indica tes an error .

If a faul t condition occu rs, it is reporte d in the Amplif ier Alarm section of the Error L og. Upper amplifier alarms affect channels 1 an d 2, and Lower amplif ier alarms affect channel s 3 and 4.

73 of 80 9.0 Restoring E-4 Microcontroller Code The firmware upgrade runs automat ically and will n otify you when i t is co mplete. Once the up grade is complet ed, select t he Service H ar d ware mode and verify t hat the microcontr oller version number is correct.
