5 SETUP Set the A-B-C Switc h The A -B-C switc h is located inside the batt er y compar tment. It can be set to A , B or C. Ho we v er , you must select the same letter c hoices for bot h the sensor and the cloc k in order for t he units to sync hronize.

7 Atomic Cloc k (RCC) AcuRite atomic cloc ks use a radio-controlled signal (R CC) to sync hronize to the correct time broadcast by the National Institute of S tandards and T echnology (NIST) Radio Station WWVB, locat ed near For t Collins, Colorado. WWVB broadcasts the current time and dat e with split-second accuracy .
8 Alarm Cloc k Placement Place alarm cloc k in a dr y area free of dir t and dust. T o help ensure an accurate indoor temperature measurement, be sure to place the cloc k away from heat sources or v ents. Outdoor Sensor Placement Sensor must be placed outside to obser ve outdoor conditions.
9 Using t he Cloc k Set t he Alarm T ime Slide Alarm #1 and/or Alar m #2 switch ON (alar m time cannot be adjusted if the alar m is OFF). Press and release the “ ” or the “ ” button t o enter AL ARM SET MODE.
