3 Please thoroughly familiarize yourself with the information in this manual prior to installation and operation. 1.0 GENERAL 1.1 IMPORT ANT SAFEGUARDS AND W ARNINGS Prior to installation and use of this product, the following W ARNINGS should be obser ved.
4 2.0 DESCRIPTION Environmental enclosures in the TC9346A Series are used with pan/tilt units or fixed mounts . The enclosures are constructed of aluminum. Y ou can install cameras with either fix ed focal length lenses or motorized z oom lenses. All models have an adjustab le camera sled to accommodate diff erent sizes of cameras and lenses.
5 3.0 INST ALLA TION 1. Unlatch and raise the enclosure lid. The gas spring will hold the lid in place when it is fully opened. 2. Remov e the camera sled from the rail: a. Loosen the screws . b. Slide the sled so that the screws are in the large part of the mounting slots.
6 c. Remov e the four screws and w ashers (B and D) that secure the fan to the fan plate . d. T ur n the f an around so that it blows toward the vie wing window (ref er to the arrows on the f an). e. Reinstall the fan on the f an plate. f. Reinstall the fan plate and f an in the enclosure.

Wire the 10-connector INPUTS terminal on the circuit board to the lens controller as f ollows: • Lens Common - Connector 1 • Focus - Connector 2 • Zoom - Connector 3 • Iris - Connector 4 • Preset Common - Connector 5 • Preset Focus - Connector 6 • Preset Zoom - Connector 7 • Preset High - Connector 8 11.
8 13. TC9346A-1, -2, -3 Models Only Wire power to the enclosure to operate accessories (and the camer a if its pow er is connected to CAM 1 on the circuit board) as follows: a. Remov e the plastic cover ov er the power supply section of the circuit board.

(T en percent is generally the maximum allow able voltage drop f or AC-pow ered devices.
11 4.0 OPERA TION If your enclosure has a thermostatically controlled blo wer, the thermostat is set to tur n the f an on between 77 ° and 93 ° F (25 ° and 34 ° C) and to turn the f an off be- tween 62 ° and 78 ° F (17 ° and 26 ° C).
12 5.0 MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING 5.1 MAINTENANCE P erform the follo wing maintenance at regular ly scheduled inter vals to prolong the operational lif e and appearance of the equipment. 1. Clean the window with a mild non-abr asive detergent in w ater and a soft cloth to maintain picture clarity .
