6 Atomic Cloc k (RCC) AcuRite atomic cloc ks use a radio-controlled signal (R CC) to sync hronize to the correct time broadcast by the National Institute of S tandards and T echnology (NIST) Radio Station WWVB, locat ed near For t Collins, Colorado. WWVB broadcasts the current time and dat e with split-second accuracy .
7 Alarm Cloc k Placement Place alarm cloc k in a dr y area free of dir t and dust. T o help ensure an accurate indoor temperature measurement, be sure to place the cloc k away from heat sources or vents.
