6 • Secure the two handles by tight ening th e upper wing n uts (carria ge bolts m ust be s eated pro perly into the handle). • Remove the ha irpin clip s from the handl e bracket s and remove t he carri age bolt s and win g nuts from th e lower handle .
7 • Raise t he noz zle heig ht to the highes t setting when usin g t he blo wer chut e. Refer to n ozz le height adju stment in the ADJ USTME NT section. NOTE: The bag /chute sw itch button attached to the mounting brac ket mu st be f ully de pressed by th e tip o f front ta b on the blower chute or e ngine will not s tart.

13 TO DRAIN OIL Drain o il while engine is warm. Follow the instructions given belo w. • Drain the gas ta nk, start the eng ine and l et it ru n until the fuel line and carburetor are emp ty. • Remove oil fill di pstick. • Tip unit on its sid e to drain th rough the oil fill tube .
