Description The Bogen Model CR100A is a compact, integrated unit consisting of an auto- re versing cassette ta pe pla yer and a FM-ster eo/AM tuner*. The CR100A pro- vides an economical source of backgr ound music f or Bogen sound systems.
Contr ols and Functions Operating Instructions 1. On/Off Switch and V olume Contr ol - T o turn the unit on, rotate the knob clockwise until an audible click is heard. Fur ther clockwise r otation will increase the volume le vel. 2. Balance Control - Mo ve the slider contr ol to obtain the most desirable stereo eff ect.
7. Eject Button - Press this button to eject the cassette ta pe . 8. Cassette T ape Door - Insert a cassette tape sidewa ys with the ta pe side facing toward the right. 9. Digital Display - The displa y indicates station fr equency and other functions.
RADIO OPERA TION 1. T urn the unit on by turning the V olume control knob clockwise. 2. Select either FM1, FM2, FM3, or AM mode . 3. T une to a desired station, manually or automatically , with the Manual tuning, Seek or Preset buttons. 4. Adjust the V olume and Balance controls to your liking.
Important Routine Maintenance T o a v oid the need for frequent servicing, we str ongly r ecommend periodic clean- ing of the tape head, capstans, and pinch r ollers. This will also ensure high-qual- ity repr oduction of pr ogrammed material. The unit should be cleaned after ev er y 20 to 30 hours of operation.
