Modules Output Modules Functionality The Po w er V ector series of amplifiers accepts Bogen signal-pr ocessing output modules, which offer a cost eff ec- tive and con v enient wa y to add specific signal-pr ocessing capability into a system.
Connections Speakers T ransf ormer -Coupled Speaker Connections T ransf ormer -coupled, constant voltage speak er loads are connected to their respectiv e load type (i.e ., 70V speak ers to the 70V terminal, 25V speak ers to the 25V terminals) and the COM terminal.
Connections COM and GND T erminals A shorting jumper typically connects the COM and GND terminals of the amplifier together . The COM terminal is a common lead from the output transformer . For the transf ormer -coupled speaker output to work, one of the speaker load leads must be connected to this terminal.
Mute Contr ol Each priority bus (High, Medium, and Low) can be externally activated. This allows priority buses of tw o or more P ower V ector units to be link ed together for system expansion purposes.
Operation Fr ont P anel Controls & Indicators Input V olume Contr ols Each input module ma y be individually controlled by its cor r esponding volume contr ol knob. Signal / Clip Indicator A single LED located above each channel’ s volume contr ol indicates the audio activity of that channel’ s input.
Operation Rear P anel Controls Load Selector Switch A large slide switch abov e the amplifier’ s output barrier strip determines transformer -coupled or direct output operation. The setting of this switch contr ols which amplifier output terminals ar e active and what type of f ilter shape will be used for the bass contr ol.
