5 Setting Up ScreenBeam Pro Setting Up the First T ime This section explains ho w to connect ScreenBeam Pro fo r the first time to a source device. There ar e three source device op tions: W indows 8.1, I nt el W iDi, an d Miracast™. W indows 8.1 T o connect to a source device running W indo ws 8.

18 Display Options Duplicate The Duplica te mode is used to displa y the same con tent on both the device ’ s scr een and the HDTV simultaneo usly . Note : There m ay be minor de lay between the con ten t displa yed on the HDTV screen com pared to the device ’ s screen.
19 Display Options Ultra-Lo w Delay ScreenB ea m Pro also sup ports Ultra-Low Dela y mode, which helps r educe end-t o- end wireless di splay la tenc y . Re al-time a pplica tions, s uch as games, ca n run with - out n oticeable dela y when Ultra-Low Dela y mode is enabled o n sup ported devices.
20 Display Options NVIDIA Shield T o act i vat e ultra-low dela y with NVIDI A Shield running: 1. Go to “Settings ” , then select Mirac ast . 2. T ap on the toggle switch t o turn “ Game Mode ” on. Note : The ou tpu t resol ution will be set to 720P once this mode is enab led.

ScreenBe a m Pro p ro vides a local manag ement w eb ser ver t o access advanced settings. W ith the web server , IT administrat ors can setu p , configure a nd upgrade ScreenBeam Pro .
22 Advanc ed Settings 2. Connect to ScreenB eam P ro ’ s SSID fro m a wireless-ena bled lap top (o r other device with W i-Fi access ab ility and a we b bro wser). 3. Ent er the network security key in “ Secur i ty key” text box of the “ Connect to a Netw ork ” dialog box, then click OK .

32 Advanc ed Settings Modifying ScreenBeam Pro ’ s SSID T o change ScreenBeam Pro ’ s netwo rk name: 1. Click Netwo rk Settings fro m an y web server screen, then typ e a new na me in the Netw ork N ame (SSID) box and a n ew password in the “ N etwor k Pas swor d ” text box.
33 Advanc ed Settings Rebooting ScreenBeam Pro T o reboot ScreenB eam P ro: 1. Click Maintenance f r om an y web ser ver screen, then click Ye s n ext to “Reboot Receiver ” . 2.
